Silverstone, England

Mai 25-26, 2018

"Having had a bit of bad luck at our previous races, I can finally say I had a good weekend from start to finish.

The sensations are very accurate and I had a great time flying through the air in our Megane R.S. RX on the Brittish track.  I got so much air that our suspension had a hard time absorbing the hits on our first day and I finished the first two qualifying rounds with a leaky suspension.

Despite the suspension trouble, I won my Q2 and we finished P9 after the first day of racing.

Sunday, we woke up to a beautiful dry day even though they had called for rain all weekend ( it was the first time I'd seen so much blue sky in England), so we finally had our first dry race of the season!

P9 in Q3 and P6 in Q4 put me in the inner last line of the semi-final. I tried to sneak my way up the inside at the start and came out 6th, but found a way to pass Timmy Hansen and crept past Timur Timerzyanov, making my way into 4th place. What a great feeling to get battle your way through the competition at such a high level.

We come away our weekend in Silverstone with such a great memory of the welcoming and supportive English fans. For our Prodrive team, it was also a special opportunity to meet their families and friends on their home soil for the 4th race of the FIA World Rallycross Championship.

Our focus is now turned to Norway as we prepare for this very fun but hilly rallycross terrain.

See you in Hell, I can't wait to get there! ;)"
